Our Story
Decades ago, our dad, Carl, fell in love with homes. He spent years running his own business selling used mobile homes, then turned his focus to owning rental properties across Anderson County — always seeing potential where others saw just another old house.
When Carl passed away in 2020, our family made a decision: we weren't ready to let what he built end with him.
Today, CEW Legacy Homes is run by Carl's wife, Sue, his son, Mike, his daughter, Holly, and his son-in-law, Chad. The same way Carl left a legacy for us, we hope to carry on the legacy of every home we touch.
Who we are
CEW Legacy has called Anderson County home since 2020. CEW Legacy Homes was formed in 2026 with one purpose: find houses across Palestine and the surrounding area that have been overlooked, and help them continue their legacy. We are not developers. We are a family that believes a well-cared-for home is one of the best things you can hand down.
When you reach out to CEW Legacy Homes, you reach us — not a call center or a property manager. Every project is personal.
We live and work in the same communities we renovate. Palestine and East Texas are not just a market to us — they are home.
We renovate homes the right way. That means taking time to do the work correctly, using quality materials, and not cutting corners to get to the next deal.
We keep buyers informed from day one. When a home is ready, the people on our list hear first — no surprises, no bidding wars.
